Aftercare Instructions

Congratulations on your new brows! Proper aftercare is essential for the best results, healing, and colour retention. This guide will tell you exactly what to expect, when, and how to care for your brows.

What to Expect After Your Appointment:

Your new brows may look a little different at first — this is completely normal! Here’s what usually happens:

  • Immediately after: Brows will appear darker and more defined than you might expect. Slight redness or swelling is normal and will settle within a few hours.

  • Days 1–3: Brows may feel tender. The pigment may look uneven or darker than anticipated — this is part of the healing process.

  • Days 4–7: You may notice some scabbing or flaking. Please do not pick or scratch — letting it shed naturally is important for your results.

  • Weeks 2–4: Pigment may soften and fade slightly. This is completely normal. A touch-up session is usually recommended 6–8 weeks after your first appointment ($110), to perfect your colour and shape.

Cleansing & Cream Application:

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your brows.

  2. Gently cleanse with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap.

  3. Pat dry with a clean tissue — don’t rub.

  4. Apply a thin layer of your prescribed numbing/aftercare cream once a day for 10-14 days.

Do’s & Don’ts:

Do:

  • Keep brows dry and clean.

  • Use the cream as instructed.

  • Avoid makeup, exfoliants, or strong skincare products on the brow area.

Don’t:

  • Pick, scratch, or peel scabs.

  • Expose brows to strong sunlight, saunas, or swimming for at least 2 weeks.

  • Use facial treatments (like chemical peels) over the brows during healing.

  • Freak out because the tattoo is lighter/darker than expected (you won’t see the true colour until 4-6 weeks later).

Long-Term Care:

Avoid excessive sun exposure — use SPF after healing.

Book a touch-up 6–8 weeks after your first session if needed.

💛 Remember: What you’re seeing is normal and part of the process. It’s completely natural to feel excited or even a little nervous — you’re in good hands, and your brows will settle beautifully over the coming weeks.
