Referring a patient for brow restoration
I'm Harmony Tera, founder of Lemonade Brows in Camperdown and specialise in restorative brow work for clients experiencing brow loss through alopecia, oncology treatment, hormonal and thyroid changes, and ageing.
If you're a dermatologist, oncology or breast care nurse, trichologist, GP or allied health professional, this page explains how I work with referred patients.
Free phone consultation first. Every referred patient starts with a free 15-minute phone consultation — no cost, no obligation. We discuss their situation, timing, and whether cosmetic tattooing is appropriate.
Honest suitability assessment. I decline or defer clients where skin condition, medication, healing capacity or treatment timing makes tattooing inappropriate. If now isn't the right time, I'll say so and help them plan.
Medical clearance policy. For any patient undergoing or recovering from medical treatment, or with a relevant medical condition, I require written clearance from their treating team before proceeding. I do not tattoo during active chemotherapy or radiation.
Feedback to the referrer. With the patient's consent, I'm happy to provide a brief note back to the referring clinician on the outcome of the consultation or procedure.
Standards. I hold current infection control certification, am fully insured, and work in accordance with NSW health requirements from my studio in Camperdown. I use pigments and techniques selected for mature and fragile skin, and compounded topical anaesthetics for comfort.
How I work
Timing guidance for oncology patients
Where treatment hasn't yet commenced and the care team approves, brow tattooing can sometimes be completed before treatment begins, allowing full healing first. Otherwise, I see patients after treatment once cleared by their team. I'm always happy to have a planning conversation with a patient at any stage, including mid-treatment, with no procedure until the appropriate time.
